Cherry Cobbler, white and gold. With dessert...an ornament! I knew exactly where this was going. I had been compelled by forces stronger than I could resist, to buy new dies after watching Jennifer McGuire's and Kristina Werner's Simon Says release videos.
This was the hardest card to photograph because I used a mirror gold foil and it was so reflective I couldn't get a good shot. This is an awkward angle but at least there's no glare or oddity in the reflection. I love this die cut ornament. I wanted to get the tree but after Jennifer & Kristina a few of the items I wanted were sold out 😞. The card is pretty straight forward, and there were no stamps used in the making of this card.
This one was just as difficult to photo...but the banner shows another angle. Here I tried Jennifer's embossing technique. You lightly apply versa mark ink to the die's edges, then emboss it via your Cuttlebug or big shot. Then you add embossing powder and it's very cool. Once you put it on your paper to run through your machine, you can't move it, and mine was crooked. So I cut it down trying to "right" it and ended up with a 3x6" card. I "filled" in the raised ares with my Wink of Stella pen...another item I was "compelled" to buy lol! The sentiment is from hero arts and I added some gold strip stickers along the bottom to finish it.
Here are a couple more shots at these cards.
