Wow...how do you say goodbye to fabulous friends, a generous and supportive company and an amazing journey? I guess the word is still the same, but it seems so small for something that has played such a big part in my life for the last 2 1/2 years. This is my last post with Flourishes Senior Design team. I will be moving on to the Bring Back Beautiful team, with a lighter load and a heavy heart.
So before I get all sentimental and emotional, here's my card.
Stamps: Lily of Hope, From the Garden (Flourishes)
Paper: Flourishes Classic White, Enchanted DP (Memory Box)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Crushed Velvet ribbon, Pearl Flourish (Zva), Copic Markers, Double Loop border punch (MS), Diamond Glaze (Judikins), Labels 11 (Spellbinders)
I also didn't want a sentiment to cover up the text on the Memory Box paper, so I pulled out "From the Garden" and used the half circle sentiment instead...I think it's a perfect fit! I finished with a gorgeous Zva flourish and that was it! I really hummed and hawed on what set to use for my final post and I decided I wanted to try "water drops" on a flower, and this gorgeous lily seemed most likely to work. It was coloured with Copic markers then I added little bubbles of Diamond Glaze to the flower petals, and I really like the effect!
The rest of the design team is sharing today too! Check out their amazing creations:
