I have two posts today! If you're looking for my Playing in Paradise Sketch Challenge card click here!
It's finally Friday, and I have a quick little birthday card to share. I wanted to work with Flourishes' Mix 'n Mugs again...I really think this is a cute, must have set! It's just going to be so versatile and easy to work with! Plus, today is the last day you can pick up the New Release Bundle and save by buying both beautiful sets together!
Stamps: Mix 'n Mugs (Flourishes)
Paper: Flourishes Classic White, Certainly Celery, Euphoria DP (Basic Grey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Certainly Celery taffeta ribbon, Scallop border punch & silver bookplate (SU), rhinestones (Kaiser)
I am coming very close to "using up" my entire pad of Euphoria! I am really making an effort to put it to use and it really works with this little bouquet! I love this image...it just says "Happy" to me! And while I coloured it with Copics, it would look just as good with any marker...for a really quick card.
There really isn't much to say about this card. I just wanted to show the image used without the mugs...and that's what makes this set so versatile. Next thing I want to try is using the mugs by themselves!!
I used my scallop border punch and a lot of bling! Really quite quick, no special technique and I used this week's SCS Sketch challenge #311.
I know the rest of the design team has some fabulous creations to share with you, so I'll send you off to visit!
