Here's my card featuring Belated Birthday - Stand Out!
Stamps: Belated Birthday -Stand Out (Taylored Expressions)
Paper: Choice Buttercream, Intense Yellow (Prism), DP My Minds Eye, DP Jillibean Soup
Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Labels 8 & Tags Trio (Spellbinders), pop dots, Yellow Ric Rac, Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon, flowers (?), button OK...aren't these little birds just adorable? I couldn't wait to play with them! The outer sentiment reads "I didn't forget your birthday" and inside reads "I just wanted my card to stand out from the crowd"! How cute is that?
I started with TE's Choice Buttercream and coloured the birds with Copic Markers. I popped up the little balloon and "grounded" them with some grass strokes, then shaped it with the Labels 8 Spellbinders die. The designer paper is by My Minds Eye and Jillibean Soup (red ledger) and yellow ric rac finishes the centre. I followed TESC123 for my layout (sketch) so for the lower embellishment I used a layered flower tied with a button centre. The sentiment is cut with Spellbinder's Tag Trio and tied off with Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon.
If you just dropped in for a visit, oh you really must celebrate with us on the blog hop! Start at Taylor's blog first and follow along. If you joined me from Lisa Hjulberg's blog, then you're on the right track, and I'm going to send you off to see what Rachel Stoznyk has in store for you!
