Woohoo! It's Saturday, and time for another Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge! This week the sketch was a circle card, which I think are so fun to make! It's still simple enough to allow for a lot of creativity, and when you see what the other Mischief Makers did, you will truly see creativity at it's best!
Here's my very literal take on the sketch.
Stamps: Fancy Phrases (Waltzing Mouse Stamps)
Paper: Brilliant Blue(SU), Desert Coral Light, Simply Smooth Ivory (Prism), DP (Kaiser)
Ink: Brilliant Blue (SU)
Accessories: Spellbinders Circle/Scalloped Circle, Petite Oval/Scalloped Oval & Labels 3 dies, scalloped ribbon (?), rhinestones (MAMBI), pop dots
I chose Fancy Phrases for my card. It's a wonderful set of sentiments and frames that are compatible with the Fancy Tags, and Petite Ovals. I really love this designer paper, so it played on my choice of ink and cardstock. I don't recall the last time I used Brilliant Blue ink!! I love how perfectly the sentiment and dotted frame fit perfectly in the petite oval dies! I stamped the little filigree on the circle below it which frames it quite nicely.
You'll see a fabulous line up of projects with this week's sketch on the Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge Blog. I hope you plan to play along! Don't forget to link up your project to this post and you might be featured as a Top Mouse when we introduce next week's challenge!
Have a fabulous weekend folks! I'll see you tomorrow with the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
