I have for you, the last three of my Dirty Challenge cards. I so wish I could do all the challenges! Once I'm on a roll, the ideas just run wild and it's a shame not to be able to act on them, but alas, it's time to move on to other things. I have a couple of classes for our fall session due soon and I have an advanced Copic marker class I am teaching on Thursday, so I have to turn my attention to those for a while. In the meantime, for your viewing pleasure hear are my final three cards, which cover 5 challenges.
Up first is a card I did with remnants of some Paper Girl paper. I love the soft colours in these papers, and I have come close to using most of it up!
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: Naturals White (SU), Paper Girl DP
Accessories: Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon & Butterfly Sizzlet (SU), adhesive pearls (Dollarama)
I used the Clean and Simple blog's FTL100 (Fall to Layout #100) for this one, layering the scalloped edged of the die cut paper for the bottom. The butterflies are from SU and I added adhesive pearls and some Regal Rose ribbon. Incidentally the ribbon matches the bottom border colour much better in real life, but it seems off in the photo. The sentiment is from an SU set called Teeny Tiny Wishes which is fast becoming a fall to set for me! I think this turned out so sweet! This is also for Dawn's DTGD10flowergal36 challenge.
I still had my Paper Girl paper sitting on my desk and was getting closer to actually using it up; something that is rare for me to do...I usually forget all about it! So I used it again.
Stamps: Thoughts and Prayers (SU)
Paper: Prism Simply Smooth, Bazzill, Paper Girl DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Kiwi Kiss (SU)
Accessories: Petite oval/scalloped oval dies (Spellbinders), ticket corner punch (SU), button(?), adhesive pearls (Dollarama), pop dots
This one uses SU's Thoughts and Prayers and I thought the colours would be nice for a get well card. I used my petite oval Spellbinder dies, lots of adhesive pearls and a button! Soft, pretty and soothing. I worked with Leigh O'Brien's DTGD10leighobrien challenge for this one!
And last but not least is a triple challenge card. I incorporated Joan Ervin's DTGD10JoanErvin and Edna15's DTGD10Edna15 and Amber's DTGDAmberDawn02 challenges. I had always planned to incorporate more than one challenge per card, but sometimes a card has a mind of it's own. So I was pleased that all three showed up here!
Stamps: Flower Blossom (Hero Arts), Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU)
Paper: Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie (SU), Prism Simply Smooth Ivory, Green at Heart DP (Basic Grey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Circle/Scalloped circle & Tag Trio dies (Spellbinders), Photo corner punch & binder clip (SU), Copic Markers, Stardust Stickles, button (?), orange sheer ribbon (?), pink ribbon (Flourishes), pop dots, embroidery floss
I chose Basic Grey's Green at Heart DP as my starting point. The stamp set is an older Hero Arts set called Flower Blossom. The sentiment is from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes set again! I stamped the large flower twice on Prism Simply Smooth Ivory and coloured it with Copic Markers. I added Stardust Stickles to the inner portion of each petal, and cut one out to pop up over the stem. It needed something else so I layered photo corners and a button in the upper left, and added a single corner in Pumkin Pie on the focal panel. The orange sheer ribbon is from my stash, the pink satin is from Flourishes. I cut the sentiment with Spellbinder's Tag Trio die and finished with a binder clip from SU!
So there you are! Thanks for letting me share all this excitement with you. It's always a pleasure to have you drop by. Have a fabulous day and I'll see you again real soon!
