I'm doing double duty today! I'm sharing my Flourishes Friday card and it will also be my make and take next Thursday! We all need a some high fashion in our lives, and what could be more fashionable than a beaded purse and animal prints? Have a look!
Stamps: Think Pink, Sweet Violets (Flourishes)
Paper: Flourishes Classic Ivory, Bazzill
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Jet Black Stazon
Accessories: Embossing folder (Sizzix), Microbeads (MS), Chocolate Pearls (Kaiser), corner rounder, pop dots
Isn't that fun? It takes paper piecing to a whole new level! The purse is from Think Pink, a set that although it was created in support of Breast Cancer research, is so versatile. I have used the purse and T-shirt over and again!
The image was stamped on a sheet of double sided tape in Stazon and once again on Flourishes Classic Ivory. I cut out the strap and purse body and adhered one side of the tape to the other image. Then I peeled off the sections and dipped them in the respective colour of micro beads. I kept the card really simple so it could easily be duplicated.
Be sure to check out Flourishes weekly Focus on their blog. Christine is doing a focus on Jami Sibley's More is More concept. And, while some of our design team mates are off at CHA, some of us are still at home playing with stamps. Have a look at what they've been up to!

That's it for me. If you're in the Red Deer area, you can pick up Flourishes' stamps at Scrapbooker's Paradise and drop in next Thursday between 11 & 4 for our make and take! Have a fabulous weekend and I will see you soon!
