It's Day 4 of Flourishes Grand Re-Opening celebration challenges, and Day 2 of of our previews! Today's preview is Easter Lily, a gorgeous mini set with another of Marcella Hawley's amazing florals. I have coloured the lily traditional Easter white, but honestly it's such a perfect lily, colour it anything you like and it will still look great! Our challenge today is celebrating our new store that simply sparkles, so we want you to add some sparkle to your creation and celebrate with us! Here's what I did.
I used last week's sketch #270 on Splitcoast Stampers I first coloured the lily with Copic Markers using the Pastel Collection and Evergreen Collection. Then I did a faux Diamond dust technique, inking it up while still in the circle nestie. There's a tutorial on it here. You can see the sparkle a bit better when you click on the image, and the banner gives an idea of how truly sparkly it is in real life!
Are you ready to see more of Easter Lily? Hop along with me and see what the rest of the design team did with this fabulous little set!
