Happy Sweet Sunday! I'm in Calgary as this posts, visiting with my Dad. I don't know if I'll get any stamping done, although it will seem really strange if I don't. Anyway, I do have this little gem to share with you, and I really love how it turned out.
I love circles, they are such a perfect balanced element to work with, and to my benefit, Karen uses them a lot! I thought I had this perfectly pictured in my head as I worked on it, but I see now that I did have it a little different. Just a minor change to the sketch, but I like my intepretation.
I love the colours in Basic Grey's "Indian Summer" papers, and I let it take the lead in designing the card. I used Maya Road chipboard flowers, Basic Grey brads, and an EK border punch. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo's "Greetings" set.
Are you gonna try out the sketch now? Be sure to link up to Karen's blog post so we can all see your creative juices on paper! In the meantime, check out what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers did with the sketch!
