I'm back with a new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen designed another fabulous sketch that was so easy to work with. I won't say this took me any less time, but it didn't take any more time than normal either. That's in part due to the fact that I used one of Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kits, the Places You'll Go kit to be exact, to put it all together. Honestly, they make matching and embellishing a breeze!
I picked out one of my personal favorites, Places You'll Go for this sketch. I hadn't used this image before and I really think it's so sweet!
The image is stamped on Choice Buttercream in Memento Tuxedo Black an coloured with Copic markers. The sky was sponged with Not Quite Navy ink after masking off the moon. I added some shimmer with the Spica Glitter pens to the stars and flame, then cut out the rocket and popped it up. The window has some Sakura Clear glaze pen for a little added shine, but it didn't come through at all in the photo.
The heart button was from my stash, but the rest of the buttons and ribbon were from the Places You'll Go Key Ingredients kit. See what I mean, so easy to work with.

Now you may have noticed I wasn't part of the latest and greatest release by Taylored Expressions. It was a tough decision, but I chose to step down from the Baker's Dozen as my balancing act was getting a little too shaky. It was quite sad saying goodbye to Taylor, as she is one of the sweetest ladies in this industry, and the Bakers Dozen are so amazingly talented and fun. However, you'll still be seeing many of the fabulous Taylored Expression stamps on my blog, because they are just so fabulous. I am really hoping for some Christmas money so I can pick up the latest release...WOW what a fabulous offering!
I think this will be my last post as Christmas approaches, so I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with all the love and wonder the season can bring. I hope you will have the opportunity to spend it with family and friends and revel in the magic of the season. I know I will! May God Bless and keep you safe during this holiday season!
