I realized after I finished this card that I used Patterned Pines for my Sweet Sunday Sketch last week! Oh well (my dd's response to everything LOL!). I really like this set and I've had it for quite a while. It's about time it saw some ink. And when I saw Karen's sketch this week, I knew it would be perfect...and it was!
I had to make this quick, and honestly, I think I finished it from first cut to done, in 45 mins. I'm sure that's a recent record. It usually takes me about 1-2 hours to create a card...sometimes more. DH is home this week and expressed his concerns about the amount of time I spend down here stamping...so I stole a few minutes while he was out to finish this one. I do spend a lot of time here, so this weekend I tried to avoid stamping while he was home. I was quite amazed at how quick I was in a time crunch. Something to think about anyway!
So I'll keep this quick too, leaving you with the recipe. I used some creative license for the three embellishments on the lower left. They're there...as part of the sentiment! Have a peek at what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers came up with using the sketch, then try your hand at it!
Have a fabulous Sunday! I have more calendar pages to show you...but I think it will be Tuesday before I can get down here again. I know you're probably not waiting with baited breath, but I thought I'd let you know they're coming.
