Happy Sunday stampers! It's time for another edition of the Sweet Sunday Sketch, and I really like how my card turned out this week. A little bit of everything went into it. I seem to be very "clustery" these days, which is a style I've always admired, but never really pulled off well. I hope I'm finally getting it, because I really like this!
I picked up this gorgeous paper pad ; "Madeline" by SEI at Michaels on (Black) Friday, and I always try to use my new stuff within the week of purchase. I just feel better, justifying my purchase by using it. I have way too much stuff that I've bought and stuffed, and really have to force myself to use now, that I figure it's a good habit to get into. It also makes me think twice about "needing" something. Will I be able to use it this week? If not, I try to at minimum delay the purchase. Anyway, it's beautiful paper and I really needed it so here it is, in it's debut card!
I pulled out "It's all Good" by Stampin' Up, along with a journalling set by Art Warehouse. I used my Little Leaves die cut for the first time and attached it with a spiral clip and fancy brad by Making Memories. The side ribbon was run through a slot punch and tied with buttons and floss. I just think this is a classy and fun card! I know lot's of ladies that fit that description quite well!
Now, let's take a peek at what the Sweet Sunday Stampers did with the sketch!
It's Sunday and I can afford to sleep in a bit and I am so looking foward to it! I hope your Sunday affords you some little luxury, whether it be sleeping in or maybe getting some stamping time. Have a fabulous day in any case, and thanks so much for dropping by! I always love it when you do.
