Birthday's are big. It is the one day of the year you can call your own and celebrate! Today is Nancy McKinney's birthday and a few fellow stampers and me are sending her some cyber wishes and folded hugs! Nancy is one of Taylored Expressions stamp designers and of course she is a celebrated stamper too...check out her blog Cardworthy, and while you're there, wish her a happy birthday too!
I created this card for Nancy's birthday. I just love this rich rust colour from Taylored Expressions September 20, Key Ingredients kit. I paired it with one of the sets from the newest release "Celebrate Life"
The ribbon and designer paper are both from the Sept 20 KI kit. The blossom is stamped in Dusty Durango on Choice Buttercream cardstock with some Fruit Punch Stickles added for sparkle and shine. The photo corners are Cuttlebug dies, and the sentiment was cut with the Nestabilities tag trio. I did a fair bit of sponging on this card, which is unusual for me, and it turned out a little darker than I expected, but still a warm fall birthday card, I hope!
