This month at Taylored Expressions we are putting Maya Mist and Crafter's Corner Templates in the Spotlight. These fabulous new products are available at Taylored Expressions and I had so much fun playing with them! Here's a quick little card I came up with.
It's funny working on design teams that we are usually working a couple months ahead of the seasons. So while Taylored Expressions just released their Christmas sets, really Halloween is on the horizon, so I thought I would take this opportunity to pull out Spooky Expressions and get in the spirit (pun intended!).
See that fabulous metallic glimmer on the black? That was created using the "Arabesque" template by Crafter's Workshop, and "Copper" Maya Mist. It's really easy to use. Just place the template on the cardstock or whatever material you are working with, and spray the Maya Mist on it. It only takes a few sprays and you're done! It's not messy, and dries very quick and the shimmer is amazing!!. It doesn't make your paper wet either, and the paper did not warp. I really like that it does not come off on your hands after it dries. It seems quite permanent on the paper.

I had tried a couple of images from Spooky Expressions and when I couldn't decide which to go with, I decided to piece them together and use both the web and the tree! I did some sponging to set the tone, and added the sentiment across the middle. I finished with a spiral clip and the glimmer grosgrain ribbon from the Halloween Key Ingredients kit.
