Here's my inspired take on the peacock feather.
I love blue and green together and immediately thought of the set "Birds and Vine". I also picked up on the fabulous shine and pulled out my Twinkling H20's to colour with.
I started by stamping the vine on an angle across the card twice. I coloured the vine and blossoms with Twinkling waters and an aqua painter. I stamped the sentiment along the top, and added a spiral clip tied with three colours of ribbon. I stamped one of the birds in Tempting Turquoise and then coloured it with Twinkling H20's because the shimmer and intensity of the Twinks is so much brighter than the ink.
The card base is kraft and the colours I chose to work with are Taken with Teal and Kiwi Kiss. I layered a strip of K & Co. designer paper on the card stock colours and edged them with my Martha Stewart border punch. I tied a strip of shiny satin ribbon around the middle and it was done!
