Yes me! I have to tell you I was just thrilled to receive an email from Taylor VanBruggen asking if I would like to be her Featured Cupcake Stamper! I use Taylor's Cupcake sketch every weekend for my sketch sets, and being the sketch stalker that I am these days, it was a thrill to get the sketch a few days early to play with. I actually did two versions of the sketch, but I'll save the other for my Weekend Sketch Set...geez I'm being a real tease lately! The one I am sharing I was really pleased with the way it turned out.
I was looking through my stamp sets and I couldn't remember the last time I had used "Dreams du jour". I just "had" to have this set, and I think I've only used it once, and I really do like it, so I decided to pull it out. I tend to think of the Bella Rose designer papers when I think of this set...so out they came and it all came together beautifully!
I popped up the main image after watercolouring it with ink and an aquapainter, just to give it a bit more presence. I took the sentiment from the "Live Your Dreams" set, and embossed it in white. I thought it worked better with the Dreams image.
What you can't see it the sparkle and shimmer. I outlined the flowers and butterfly with a Sakura Clear glitter gel pen and added some Crystal Stickles to the flower centres; the sparkle in real life is so pretty.
Recipe: Stamps: Dreams du Jour (SU), Paper: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Bella Rose DP Ink: Riding Hood Red, Versamark Accessories: White ep (PSX), gems (Kaiser), re-inkers & Aquapainter, Sakura Clear glitter gel pen, Crystal Stickles, dimensionals

Well, that's my first go at Taylor's Cupcake Sketch. Are you going to give it a try? If you do, link it back to Taylor's blog by comment or upload it to Splitcoast with the keyword TECC43. I hope can drop in on Sunday and see another, very different, version in my Weekend Sketch Set. I have a special edition this week!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone, and thanks for dropping by! I always love it when you do!
